Resident notice

Dear resident,

We want to inform you about the Run2Day Halve van Haarlem. This annual running event takes place this year on Sunday, September 27, and brings a large group of enthusiastic runners to Haarlem. You live near the route, and we want to inform you about the measures we’ve put in place.

The routes of the Run2Day Halve van Haarlem pass through various parts of the city, including the historic city center, Zijlwegkwartier, and Ramplaankwartier. The start is on Nieuwe Gracht and the finish on the Grote Markt in Haarlem, where most spectators also gather. The routes have been carefully planned in advance, and traffic marshals will be present to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

We understand that the Run2Day Halve van Haarlem causes some inconvenience for certain residents of the city. To keep this to a minimum, we’d like to inform you of the following:

  • The route of the Run2Day Halve van Haarlem is fully closed to traffic. This means no cars or bicycles can use the route during the event. Crossing points for pedestrians, cyclists, and scooters will be set up in various locations.
  • The event may cause some noise disturbance. We try to limit this as much as possible, but we hope for your understanding if you do experience some inconvenience from it.

On this page you’ll find the specific measures that apply to your zone/neighborhood during the event.

If you have any questions about the Run2Day Halve van Haarlem after reading this information, feel free to contact us at info@halvevanhaarlem.nl

Would you like to join the run? You can still register via www.HalvevanHaarlem.nl/inschrijven.

We’re also always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with the organization. Interested in helping out? Click here for more information.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation — we very much look forward to your cheering on the runners on Sunday, September 27!
